An open city indoors. An open house outdoors.

This proposal for the Open City Headquarters aimed to reflect the ethos of the institution - through the planning of the space and use of materials the space felt at once inviting and honest. It provided universal appeal to people from all walks of life, from students using its studios, to professionals using its multitude of facilities, and most importantly, people from all walks of life, relaxing in its surroundings, taking in the latest developments in art, architecture and the built environment in its arty coffee-shop, IT-equipped library ar spacious srchitecturally stage-designed foyer.
